BabyLongLegs Longies, Shorts and Pants are all hand knitted with love, from pure wools. I dye most of the Aran weight wool myself, in my kitchen at home, using food colourings, packets of powdered soft drink and other wool dyes, so I can usually fulfil many of the colour combinations wanted for custom orders.

Wool is a naturally anti-bacterial and breathable fibre, making it perfect for use over re-usable nappies. Once treated with Lanolin, it makes for a very reliable form of coverage, especially at night, as it also holds around 30% of its own weight in moisture. All you need to do between uses is let it dry! It won’t smell, unless it needs another dose of Lanolin, and you really only need to wash it if it gets soiled.
